Our Story
Lake Church began on April 8, 2007, when Pastor Greg V. Hurd answered a call to help people discover their purpose in Jesus. After 15 years alongside Pastor David Emigh, he founded a church that welcomes the Holy Spirit and equips people to live their calling.
WHERE WE’RE HEADEDWe’re building a church family rooted in hope and belonging, equipping people to reign in Christ and make a lasting Kingdom impact.

What We Believe
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus lived without sin, died in our place, rose again, and will return. Through Him we are reconciled to God.
THE TRINITY
One eternal God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—loving, holy, and sovereign.
THE BIBLE
Scripture is God’s inspired, infallible Word and our guide for truth and daily life.
SIN AND SEPARATION
Sin separates us from God and His purpose.
SALVATION AND RECONCILIATION
Repentance and faith in Jesus bring forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life.
THE CHURCH
We gather as Christ’s body to worship, learn, grow, and carry out His mission.
